EasyJet to serve Luxor for first time in more than a decade

Budget carrier easyJet will serve the Egyptian city of Luxor for the first time in more than a decade when it starts a new service from Gatwick this winter.

Flights to Luxor will start on November 11, with twice-weekly departures on Mondays and Thursdays.

Luxor is home to famous monuments such as the Luxor Temple, the Valley of the Kings and the tomb of Tutankhamun.

For first time, easyJet holidays will offer a river cruise package holiday from Luxor, with seven-night Nile cruises in partnership with Jaz Hotels and Resorts. Luxor hotels are also available to book with easyJet holidays.

EasyJet will also start a new winter service to the Egyptian resort of Sharm el Sheikh from Liverpool. Beginning on February 14, the service will operate on Mondays and Fridays.

Furthermore, the airline will start two new routes to the Norwegian capital Oslo from Manchester on November 15 and Liverpool from November 29.

Both routes will operate twice-weekly during the winter on Mondays and Fridays, with easyJet holidays offering a range of city breaks in Oslo.
