Aito, The Specialist Travel Association, is to bring back a sustainable tourism webinar series for agents.
The programme will "build on the success" of last year’s 11-part series and will be led by Aito Sustainable Committee co-chairs Zoe Savage Morton and Amy Skelding.
The webinars will highlight examples of sustainable tourism practices in destination with insights from tourist boards, specialist tour operators and industry leaders.
There will be four destination-focused sessions which will show the impact of initiatives “taking place on the ground”.
Claire Doherty, product and operations director at Aito member Travel Department, said: “As an Aito member, attending these webinars has been a tremendous source of inspiration and guidance on our sustainability journey.
“Hearing case studies and insights from other members has not only informed our approach but helped us advance towards our own sustainability goals.
"The experts who participated offered invaluable knowledge - and Aito’s toolkit and supportive community make a real difference for all members.”
Eleni Skarveli, UK Director of Visit Greece, added: “I am honoured to take the lead on the 2025–2026 Aito Sustainable Tourism Webinar Series, which will spotlight destinations and bring together Aito members, destinations and tour operators to drive a shared vision for a more sustainable future.”
