BA Cityflyer is adding a second summer seasonal service to Spain from Glasgow airport as part of 2026 expansion.
The wholly-owned British Airways’ subsidiary is opening a route to San Sebastian.
BA Cityflyer is also starting summer flights from London City airport to Toulon Saint-Tropez on Tuesdays and Saturdays between May 23 and September 1, becoming the carrier’s fourth French destination, joining Nice, Bergerac, and Chambery.
The airline is introducing flights from Stansted to Olbia, Sardinia, twice a week on Saturdays and Sundays between May 23 and September 27.
Flights from Glasgow to the northern Spanish city will run twice a week on Tuesdays and Saturdays between July 18 and September 8.
The new route follows the recent announcement of BA Cityflyer’s weekly summer service from Glasgow to Palma from May 2026.
BA Cityflyer managing director Ian Romanis said: “We’re delighted to be launching direct flights from Glasgow to San Sebastian, offering our Scottish customers easy access to this popular city.
“This new route will provide even greater options and flexibility for those planning summer holidays in 2026, and we are confident that it will be popular with our customers.”
Chris Tibbett, aero director at Glasgow airport owner AGS Airports, added: “This exciting addition to our summer schedule not only strengthens Glasgow airport’s short-haul network but also offers our passengers more choice when planning their holidays.
“San Sebastian is a stunning destination, and this new route will provide a convenient and high-quality travel option for Scottish holidaymakers.”
