Edinburgh airport has resumed operations after flights were grounded this morning (December 5) amid an IT issue.
The airport had temporarily halted flights after the issue arose with its air traffic control provider.
A spokesman for Edinburgh Airport said: “Flights at Edinburgh Airport have now resumed following the IT issue with ANS, our air traffic control provider.
“We thank passengers for their patience and understanding.”
The airport’s online arrivals and departures pages are showing a host of cancellations, delays and diversions for Friday morning’s flights, affecting airlines such as easyJet, Air France, United Airlines, Turkish Airlines, Ryanair, British Airways, Loganair, Icelandair, Delta Air Lines, Lufthansa and Eurowings.
