Elite Travel Group recruits Adam Courtney as business development executive

Elite Travel Group has recruited Adam Courtney, formerly of Classic Collection, which was closed by its parent On The Beach in September.

Courtney will join the Midlands-based agency consortium as a business development executive (BDE) next Monday (November 17).

He has more than 20 years of experience in the travel industry, having held senior roles at Thomas Cook, Hays Travel, Balkan Holidays, JTA Travel and, most recently, as Classic Collection’s regional sales manager for the Midlands and north.

Elite said in a statement: “His impressive background in sales, account management, and team leadership makes him a fantastic addition to their Team Elite.”

In his new role, he will focus on strengthening relationships and driving regional sales growth with preferred partners; leading training and engagement initiatives; and supporting strategic membership development across the UK.

Based in Birmingham, he is known for his “energetic approach, strong communication skills, and commitment to delivering results”, added Elite.

Outside work, he enjoys fitness, travel, music and is a proud season ticket holder at Birmingham City FC.
