MSC Cruise is to expand entertainment options at its private island in The Bahamas, Ocean Cay MSC Marine Reserve, from January 2026.
An augmented reality (AR) treasure hunt experience for all ages will be added, where passengers can use their mobile devices to find new locations and wooden sculptures around the island which prompt an educational storytelling function about ecological challenges and native species in the area.
A Lego po-up in the Welcome Pavilion will also join the line-up, with seven mascots alongside MSC Cruises’ mascot, Doremi.
Finally, a daily wellness and sports programme led by two professional coaches will be available for passengers, with sunrise and hot yoga, functional training sessions, sound-healing meditation and ice baths some of the activities on offer.
The new additions complement activities already on offer at the private destination, including snorkelling, paddleboarding and jet skiing, with late night and overnight stays available on selected itineraries.
