Kent agency Revells Travel has opened its second branch and taken on two former members of staff from Baldwins Travel.
The new Cranbrook premises becomes the second Revells Travel shop, in addition to a well-established first store in Headcorn.
The agency said it has welcomed two “highly experienced” travel consultants to its new branch, who were formerly at Baldwins Travel which was formally wound up on July 9.
Independent agency Revells Travel was founded in Headcorn, Kent, with Jamie Revell and Michael Weight as the company directors.
The opening at 5 Stone Street means that Cranbrook now has a high street travel agency and residents joined staff at a celebration opening event.
Jamie Revell, director of Revells Travel, said: “We’re really proud to be investing in the high street and to bring Revells Travel to Cranbrook.
“There’s still huge value in being able to sit down with someone who knows the destinations inside out and can help create a holiday that’s perfectly tailored to you.
“It’s also fantastic to welcome two brilliant local travel specialists to our team.
“They bring decades of experience and a genuine connection with the local community – it’s wonderful to see them back doing what they love.”
Revell continued: “We were so pleased by the turnout at the opening. It was such a warm welcome – we spoke to so many familiar faces and can’t wait to help them plan their next trips.”
