Sustainability experts from the travel industry and related fields are due to speak at the fifth Travel Weekly Sustainability Summit on December 3.
The event will feature a range of panel discussions and presentations assessing how the industry must adapt to ensure a sustainable future for its businesses and the destinations and communities it serves.
The free-to-attend morning event will be hosted by Delotite at its offices in central London with the support of premium sponsors easyJet holidays and HX Expeditions, destination partners Gibraltar and Spain, and sponsors Iberostar and Kuoni.
Confirmed speakers include Airlines UK chief executive Tim Alderslade, Advertising Standards Authority operations manager Justine Grimley, Deloitte partner, climate change and sustainability Emily Cromwell and sustainability advisors Bethany Hawkings and Amirah Khan, easyJet Holidays senior ESG manager Scott Lawson, Aviation Environment Federation policy manager Celeste Hicks and Abta director of industry relations Susan Deer and senior sustainability manager Carol Rose.
