CroisiEurope is to resume operations on the Mekong with five ships operating nine-day cruises between Ho Chi Minh City, Vietnam, and Siem Reap, Cambodia.
The French cruise operator says it will be the first line to return to the river on Sunday (August 7) since lines stopped sailing there at the start of the pandemic.
The waterway in south-east Asia runs through six countries, including Thailand, Cambodia and Vietnam.
CroisiEurope will operate RV Indochine 1; RV Indochine 2; RV Lan Diep; RV Toum Tiou 1; and RV Toum Tiou 2 on the Mekong. The capacity of the ships ranges from 20 to 62 passengers.
Each ship offers a restaurant serving Asian and international dishes, an air-conditioned lounge, sun deck, spacious cabins and a massage area.
Prices for the nine-day cruises, calling into Kampong Chhnang, Kampong Tralach, Koh Chen, Phnom Penh, all Cambodia; Chau Doc, Sa Dec, Vinh Long, Cai Be and My Tho, all Vietnam; start from £1,813.
During the itineraries, passengers can visit the temples of Angkor and the floating villages on Tonle Sap Lake.
