Jet2holidays has unveiled a transfer service that guarantees customers will be within the first three drop-offs on their transfer from the airport to their hotel.
The service, called express transfers, also guarantees customers will be one of the final three pick-ups on their departure transfer back to the airport at the end of their holiday.
Jet2holidays said the service will launch in the next few weeks and will be included as standard when customers or agents book a hotel featuring it. The service will initially feature in 80 properties in the Canary Islands, the Balearics, Turkey, Croatia, Greece, Portugal, Madeira, Bulgaria and Cyprus.
Speaking about the cost-of-living crisis at the Jet2 ‘Who Dares Wins’ conference in Portugal, head of product Zoe Towers announced the express transfers service to a room of 350 delegates
“The demand for holidays remains very strong, but some customers are undoubtedly feeling price-conscious in this economic climate.
“As travel experts, it is therefore up to us to help our customers find that all-important value when they are booking their holidays.
“The launch of express transfers does this and more, as not only is it a fantastic way to kick off or end a holiday by speeding the transfer up, but it also offers a better value alternative to a private transfer.”
She added: “We expect express transfers to be enormously popular and, as with anything that we know that our customers love, we will be looking to expand it even further.”
