Escorted tours and river cruise specialist Riviera Travel has expanded its 2022 UK programme with the addition of two itineraries which will run from May to October.
The itineraries will cover the north-east of England and Scotland, with five departures for each adding to a total of more than 100 domestic tours from the operator between March and December.
The five-day Northumbrian Coast, Durham and Lindisfarne itinerary includes guided tours of Alnwick Castle and Durham Cathedral and four nights half-board in the four-star Doxford Hall Hotel.
The five-day Edinburgh, St Andrews and the Royal Yacht Britannia tour includes four nights bed and breakfast at the four-star Mercure Edinburgh Haymarket Hotel and features a guided tour of Edinburgh, visits to St Andrews, the Royal Yacht Britannia, Stirling Castle and a whisky distillery and a lake cruise around Loch Katrine.
