Universal Orlando has shared details of its new 500-room Helios Grand Hotel, part of the Universal Epic Universe due to open in 2025.
The hotel was designed by the Universal Creative team and is co-owned and operated by Loews Hotels & Co.
It will feature a rooftop bar, a pool with underwater speakers and poolside cabanas, a fitness centre, a games room and a dedicated entrance to the Universal Epic Universe theme park.

Many of the rooms will overlook the park, which will comprise five immersive worlds featuring more than 50 attraction, entertainment, dining and shopping experiences, and there is a selection of How to Train Your Dragon themed children’s suites.
There are several dining options including full-service restaurant Flora Taverna, coffee shop Aurora Market and poolside bar and grill Lotus Lagoon.
Guests staying at Universal Helios Grand Hotel, or any of the other Universal Orlando hotels, will receive early park admission so they can access the parks, including Epic Universe when it opens in 2025, up to one hour before the park opens.
There will also be a complimentary shuttle bus service to the theme parks and Universal CityWalk, resort-wide charging privileges, complimentary merchandise delivery and more.
The launch of the hotel brings Universal Orlando’s total to 11 hotels and 11,000 guest rooms, which fall into three categories.
The Signature Collection includes the Universal Helios Grand Hotel, Loews Portofino Bay Hotel, Hard Rock Hotel, Loews Royal Pacific Resort and Loews Sapphire Falls Resort, and all offer full-service amenities, distinguished service, exceptional dining and more.
The Prime Value Hotels comprise Universal Aventura Hotel, Universal Stella Nova Resort (opening January 21, 2025) and Universal Terra Luna Resort (opening February 25, 2025) provide a mix of services and amenities made for comfort.
The Value Inns and Suites, which entail Universal Cabana Bay Beach Resort and Universal Endless Summer Resort, Surfside Inn and Suites & Dockside Inn and Suites, are affordable options offering standard rooms and spacious suites with kitchenettes.
