More than 30 Jet2.com and Jet2holidays apprentices have graduated from a dedicated scheme run by the sister companies.
A ceremony in Leeds marked the second graduation Jet2.com and Jet2holidays have held after the first cohort in 2022.
The 33 apprentices from across engineering, finance, ground operations, IT, marketing and operations control were honoured.
They have secured permanent positions with Jet2.com and Jet2holidays since passing their assessments first time, with many gaining distinctions for their exceptional submissions, including the entire group of Level 3 team leader apprentices.
Jet2.com and Jet2holidays HR director Miriam D’souli said: “We are delighted to see 33 of our apprentices mark the important career milestone of graduating from our apprenticeship scheme.
“We would like to congratulate the apprentices on their achievements and look forward to seeing them continue their professional careers at Jet2.com and Jet2holidays.
“A special mention should be made to Connor Ward, who we are incredibly proud of, for winning the Yorkshire and Humber Apprenticeship Awards 2023 and qualifying as a finalist in the National Apprenticeship Awards.
“Watching our apprentices develop over the course of their apprenticeships has been a pleasure, and I am confident that they each have a successful future ahead of them. Our apprentices are critical to the growth and success of our business and that is why we are continuing to grow our apprenticeship programme next year.”
The scheme will see the company provide up to £5,000 to fund the salaries of new apprentices working at independent travel agency partners in England, Scotland, Wales and Northern Ireland.
Jet2.com and Jet2holidays have more than 150 apprentices across the business and continue to expand the scheme in 2024.
