Automated lost luggage protection product Smart Luggage is now available to agents.
Smart Luggage offers policy holders immediate payouts to airline passengers for bags that are lost in transit and cannot be located.
Launched in 2021 and developed in partnership with CPP Secure and Blink Paramertic, it pays claims in real time, with £50 paid after 30 minutes and a further £500 after 48 hours.

Smart Luggage can now be bought independent of travel insurance, and is available for agents to offer their customers, even if they already have insurance partners in place.
Head of marketing Dale Robinson said: “A lost bag is the worst way to start a holiday, and after saving all year for a break, people simply don’t have the money to replace clothes and items they need.
“Smart Luggage provides an automatic cash pay out there and then so people can get what they need when they need it without the financial burden.”
He added: “The Smart Luggage product has been designed to sit independent of travel insurance, not disrupting any existing relationships travel agents or tour operators may have.”
