Royal Caribbean joins as Abta Travel Convention headline partner

Royal Caribbean International has been unveiled as a headline partner of this year’s Abta Travel Convention.

Under the theme ‘Leading the Way’, the hybrid event is taking place in London’s Canary Wharf on October 13 with three sets of business sessions.

It is the first ‘blended’ convention run by the travel association, offering in-person or online attendance.

Other headline partners include Avis Budget Group, Global Media & Entertainment and Star Alliance.

Royal Caribbean International vice president Ben Bouldin said: ”Royal Caribbean is delighted to sponsor this year’s Travel Convention.

“We are excited to celebrate the incredible efforts and ingenuity the travel industry has shown over the past 18 months and look forward to better times to come.”

Travel Weekly is trade media partner for the convention – the first to be held in two years due to the pandemic.

The 2022 Travel Convention will take place next spring in Marrakech, Morocco, as previously announced.
