Wizz Air aims to hire 800 cabin crew this year

Wizz Air plans to recruit 800 cabin crew in the UK this year across six events from August to November.

Candidates must arrive at Hampton by Hilton at Luton Airport at 9am with “an up-to-date CV”, and “be prepared for a full day of activities, including personal instructions, situational role play, team exercises and an individual interview”, the airline said.

The recruitment drive comes as the Hungarian budget carrier triples the size of its fleet with the arrival of up to 500 Airbus aircraft over the next decade and plans to open a fourth UK base in Cardiff next summer.

Wizz Air said it “plans to hire 800 new cabin crew across its network by December 2021”.

Marion Geoffroy, Wizz Air UK managing director, said: “At Wizz, we are proud of the quick progression opportunities, the quality of our training and the competitive salaries.

“As we return to pre-pandemic capacity and continue our focus on sustainable growth, we look forward to welcoming talented cabin crew candidates to join our growing family.”

The recruitment events will all take place at the Hampton by Hilton Luton Airport, and will be on August 26, September 4, September 9, September 27, October 11 and October 25.
