Cruise and ski agency Iglu has celebrated its move into new premises in Wimbledon Quarter in central Wimbledon.
As well as workspaces, Wimbledon Quarter is a complex that features shops, fitness facilities and cafes – plus Rooftop Farm Wimbledon, a sustainable garden offering seasonal produce.
The agency has taken over 380 square metres of newly designed office space, and said that moving to more modern, fit-for-purpose offices had been planned “for some years”.
David Gooch, Iglu chief executive, welcomed staff as he cut the ribbon on Monday (November 10) to mark the opening of the office, which accommodates staff in the London area.
Siobhan Commins, chief operating officer, said: “Iglu has been in Wimbledon for more than two decades, so our location was never in doubt.
“But we have wanted to move to modern, more appropriate offices for some time, and Monday’s opening was the culmination of a huge amount of planning and effort by our People team.
“Being so central to the heart of Wimbledon means our trade partners and press can easily visit us.
“We look forward to being established here for another 20 years or more and making an even greater impact in the local community.”
Iglu’s Portsmouth office continues to provide a base for staff living in the south.
The agency has about 400 staff who work on a hybrid basis and across the two sites.
