Back In Time For Bed website goes live

Parent support group Back In Time For Bed has launched a website and revealed details of its first event, to take place in September.

The group was set up on Facebook in February to help working parents across the travel industry.

Back In Time For Bed (BITFB) was created by Vicky Billing, head of partnerships at Riviera Travel, and Anna Perrott, head of supplier relations at Panache Cruises.

Having both become parents themselves in recent years, they launched the initiative to help support others across the industry who are juggling parenting and having a career.

The new website features articles and other content aimed at working parents across the UK travel industry and links to useful topics covering mental health and wellbeing, legal matters and more.

It also acts as an information hub for employers wanting to help working parents within their businesses.

BITFB also aims to hold events to support parents such as workshops, local support groups, social gatherings and educational sessions with guest speakers or panel discussions.

The first event being promoted on the site is the BITFB Family Fun Conference being held on Royal Caribbean’s Anthem of the Seas in Southampton on September 3.

Perrott said: “The new website is a major step forward for our venture and will not only provide visitors to the site with a wealth of information on relevant topics, but also act as a hub for connecting working parents and offer an open safe space forum for interaction. It’s amazing how far our Facebook group has come.”

Billing added: “We are striving to create a positive impact in our community and that’s at the centre of what we trying to achieve with our BITFB website.

“We also want to celebrate those employers who are actively supporting working parents and provide tools and advice to companies which will help them implement or improve their working parent policies.”
