Three destinations make debut in Classic’s Caribbean portfolio

Classic Collection Holidays has introduced the Dominican Republic, St Vincent & The Grenadines and St Kitts & Nevis to its portfolio of destinations in the Caribbean.

The operator has also added a further 25 properties its new Your Caribbean, Bermuda and Costa Rica brochure to cater for demand.

Alex Gavalda, product and commercial director, said: “Over the last 18 months, the Caribbean has done its best to remain open and low case numbers and efficient health protocols have seen the islands benefit from an earlier and more compete reopening than other destinations.

“Classic has heavily invested in sales, product, purchasing and marketing of the Caribbean, and we’ve seen a healthy return on our investment.

“There’s been a huge, early uplift in bookings and quotes compared to 2019, and we’ve earmarked the destination for growth in late 2021 and throughout 2022.”

He said St Vincent & The Grenadines and St Kitts & Nevis were added to meet the demand for “more experiential travel”.

“These off-the-beaten-track destinations with fewer visitors bring something new and exciting to our programme as well as opening up additional combinations of increasingly popular twin and multi-centre holiday options,” he said.

New properties include Sandy Lane in Barbados; the private island residence of Petit St Vincent and Hermitage Bay in Antigua; O2 Beach Club & Spa, in Barbados; and Royalton Grenada Resort and Spa in Grenada.
