Classic Collection launches first Indian Ocean and Arabia brochure

Classic Collection has brought out its first dedicated brochure for the Indian Ocean and Arabia.

The operator, which previously featured the regions as part of its Your World brochure, has included new destinations Oman and La Reunion Island and added 18 hotels in the Maldives, nine hotels in Mauritius, and 12 properties in Dubai and Abu Dhabi.

In total the new brochure features more than 100 properties across Sri Lanka, the Maldives, Mauritius, La Réunion Island, Seychelles, Dubai, Abu Dhabi and Oman and showcases the operator’s new logo.

Alex Gavalda, director of internal sales, product and commercial, said: “Responding to demand from our travel agent partners, and in line with our strategy of delivering high quality product and specialist content, we are delighted to be releasing our first ever dedicated Indian Ocean & Arabia brochure.

“Whilst some of our featured destinations may be considered new to Classic Collection, we have fully invested in all of the product with expert resource recruited to our sales and product teams, matched by ongoing developments to our reservations systems.”

New destination Oman features eight hotels, five of which are in the brochure, in the resorts of Muscat, Jabal Akhdar mountains and Musandam Peninsula, while La Reunion Island has two hotels focusing on active, adventure, private touring and experiences. Beach and adventure twin centres are offered in Mauritius and Reunion.

Also new are three tours in Sri Lanka: Highlights of Sri Lanka; Explore Sri Lanka; and Wild Sri Lanka.

The brochure features private tour options in Sri Lanka, La Réunion Island and Oman as well as multi centre holiday suggestions.

New hotels in the Maldives range from Makunudu, a traditional four-star boutique to The St. Regis Vommuli, a contemporary five-star resort with 24 hour butler service. New properties in Mauritius include rural boutique lodges, Bubble Lodge Bois Cheri and Lakaz Chamarel, and high-end One&Only and Oberoi resorts.

The brochure flags hotels to suit customers’ needs, said Gavalda, adding: : “Hotel tags within the brochure quickly identify which hotels fit to customers’ wishes, and QR codes on a number of our featured properties take the reader through to online video content, making our brochures a more interactive experience for agent partners and our mutual customers.”
