Wendy Wu Tours has secured four new departures for the spring 2024 cherry blossom season in Japan after selling out the original programme.
The new itinerary for March next year is for 18 nights including Tokyo, Mount Fuji, Kyoto, Hiroshima and Osaka at a lead-in of £8,865 per person.
Bookings made by November 30 qualify for a discount of £125pp, subject to availability, according to the operator.
Head of trade sales Gary King said: “Cherry blossom 2024 was quite literally sold-out until now. We’ve seen unprecedented demand for the floral spectacular, with departures selling out as soon as going on sale, leaving so many agents and their customers disappointed.
“We just couldn’t stand by and let this happen anymore, so we went all out to secure as much very limited space as we could.
“Our product teams took immediate action, flying over to Japan and scaling the length and breadth of the country to galvanise any additional space.
“We are so pleased to now be in this extremely fortunate position where we can fulfil the needs of our agent partners and enabling their customers to fulfil their dreams of seeing the Japan cherry blossom in 2024.”
