A new summer route between Gatwick and Newquay is being introduced by easyJet.

Flights to Cornwall airport Newquay will run three times a week on Tuesdays, Thursdays and Saturdays from June 8 until October 30.

Fares start at £53.98 return.

The budget carrier’s UK country manager Ali Gayward said: “We are pleased to announce the launch our new service between Newquay and London Gatwick airport which we are confident will be popular with customers planning to take to the skies once it is safe to do so.

“This is an exciting route for customers wishing to visit Cornwall for a much-needed break and to reconnect with friends and family and will equally benefit those in Cornwall with a convenient link to London.”

Newquay airport managing director Pete Downes said “I am certain that this new route will be especially welcomed by Cornish residents who have long told us they want to see more great value flights to London.

“It will also provide a fast and convenient travel option for those in London and the south east dreaming of a domestic break in Cornwall this summer.”
