Jet2.com and Jet2CityBreaks have expanded their winter 2023-24 portfolio with the addition of extra flights and breaks to Vienna from Birmingham and Manchester airports.
Birmingham airport will see up to two new weekly services to Vienna between November 10, 2023, and April 29, 2024.
Meanwhile, there will be up to two weekly services added on the Manchester-Vienna route from September 29, 2023, to May 20, 2024.
The Austrian capital was previously only available as a Christmas market destination.
The sister brands have also introduced more services to Prague and Krakow from East Midlands airport, seeing these two routes extended across the whole of winter.
They are also adding Christmas markets options for winter 2023 from Edinburgh airport to Prague. Jet2.com and Jet2CityBreaks will operate two weekly dedicated services on Thursdays and Sundays to Prague from November 30 to December 17.
Overall, nearly 300,000 departing seats have been put on sale to 12 city break destinations for this coming winter, representing Jet2.com and Jet2CityBreaks’ biggest ever winter city breaks programme and a capacity increase of 45% when compared to last winter.
Steve Heapy, chief executive of Jet2.com and Jet2holidays, said: “We are seeing strong demand for city breaks this winter, with more people than ever wanting to visit their favourite city break destinations.
“As always, we want to give customers and independent travel agents what they want, so have added flights and city breaks to Vienna throughout the whole of the winter season.
“On top of this, we have also extended our Prague and Krakow routes from East Midlands airport throughout winter too.”
