More Athens and Rome flights as Jet2 expands city breaks range

Jet2 is expanding its city breaks range for winter 2023-24 with flights to eight destinations from six UK airports.

The programme offers 28 routes including new services from Stansted to Athens and Rome.

Additional flights to Athens from Manchester airport in December and January means the Greek capital will be served year-round from the north-west hub.

Flights and city breaks have also gone on sale from Birmingham, Glasgow, Leeds Bradford and Newcastle airports.

Athens, Barcelona, Budapest, Krakow, Paris, Prague, Rome and Venice feature with weekend and mid-week services including February 2024 half-term.

The release of the city breaks follows the company releasing its winter 2023-24 ski schedule a week ago.

Chief executive Steve Heapy said: “There is a lot of demand for city breaks next winter, as we know people are looking to book further ahead.

“As always, we want to deliver what our customers and independent travel agent partners want, so have put on sale a fantastic selection of city break destinations to choose from in winter ’23/24.
