Homeworking agency Holidaysplease has collected 63 festive gifts to donate to a Birmingham charity appeal.
Sue Preston, head of Holidaysplease – which is headquartered in Birmingham – said: “This year we decided to support a local charity called Birmingham City Mission, who deliver new presents each Christmas to local families who struggle to make ends meet.
“Originally this was just a Holidaysplease head office effort but then we decided to include our remote agents.
“Everyone has been incredibly generous and it has created a wonderful team buzz. I am very proud of what we have achieved as a team for this very worthwhile charity.
“With our head office being based in Birmingham it was important to us that we chose a Birmingham-based charity.
“We are very aware that Christmas can be a challenging time for many families especially in the inner cities, so we thought this would be a perfect way to bring a smile to lots of children’s faces in the Birmingham area.”
Preston said the company has 17 staff in its head office and 22 agents, and some people donated more than one gift.
