Uniworld Boutique River Cruises will add a ship to its fleet in 2026.
The line’s president and chief executive Ellen Bettridge told delegates at this year’s Clia Riverview conference in Amsterdam that the vessel will be brought in to mark Uniworld’s 50th anniversary.
She would not be drawn on what the ship would be called or exactly when it would enter the market, but confirmed it will sail on the Rhine.
She said: “The new ship will be very different to what we already have on the Rhine, but we wanted to bring in a new ship to celebrate our 50th anniversary which is a huge milestone.”
Uniworld is this month adding new ship Victoria to its fleet and will welcome Elisabeth next year. The two ships will sail in Europe under a three-year bareboat charter agreement with Seaside Collection.
