Katie Daniels has joined Elegant Resorts as national account manager as the operator builds up trade relations.
She moves from First Class Holidays where she recently launched an islands programme.
Daniels has worked in the trade for more than 15 years including time at Kuoni and DMC Koveli Travel in the Maldives where she was global sales director.
She will report to Tracy Docherty, sales director for Elegant Resorts and If Only, when she and starts on Monday (November 6).
Docherty said: “We are delighted to welcome Katie Daniels to our team. The wider sales team focussed on growing Elegant Resorts’ trade footprint over the past year now is the right time for us to invest in driving those relationships forward.
“With her extensive luxury travel experience she will be a real asset to the team.”
Daniels addd: “I am delighted to be joining Elegant Resorts and looking forward to working with their current agent partners and introducing new agents to the business too. We have an exciting year ahead and I cannot wait to get started.”
