The number of UK travellers to Jordan rose by a third in the first seven months of the year.
The 32% year-on-year increase, from 22,762 to 30,041 between January and July, came as the country’s tourist office described the sector as continuing to show “resilience and growth”.
Total inbound tourism to Jordan increasing 13% in the first quarter compared to the same period in 2024, rising to a 23% rise in the second quarter.
A further boost is projected next month with G Adventures hosting its GX Summit in the country on September 23-29.
Jordan Tourism Board managing director Abed Al Razzaq Arabiyat said: "We are thrilled to see such strong patterns of UK tourism to Jordan following on from a healthy resurgence in Q1.
“The 32% increase in the first half of 2025 is a testament to the enduring and unique appeal of our country and the hard work of our tourism sector.
“The second half of 2025 is set to welcome more global audiences with the upcoming G Adventures Summit and the continued growth of the Jordan Trail supported by events such as the Thru-Hike in Autumn 2025.
“These new figures outline Jordan’s resilience and reputation as a safe and welcoming destination for UK tourists, and we look forward to welcoming many more visitors in the coming months.”
