&#42 BP Travel Trade services wins airtours contract

Airtours UK Leisure Group has appointed BP Travel Trade Services to handle the UK distribution for all its brands. The two companies have signed a three-year deal. It will see BP handling more than 40 million brochures for Airtours Holidays, Cresta, Bridge, Panorama, Jetset, Tradewinds, Eurosites, Manos and Leger.

&#42 Waymark names spain as top walking destination

Spain has emerged as the top-selling destination for walking holidays in a survey conducted by walking specialist Waymark Holidays. It accounts for 25% of the operator’s business. Italy came second with Austria and France neck-and-neck for third place.

&#42 BAH launches Turks and caicos programme

British Airways Holidays has launched a programme to Turks and Caicos to complement BA’s new weekly flight to the island which starts on June 3 (Travel Weekly April 23). Prices start at £799 per person for seven nights at the Comfort Suites.
