BRITISH Airways has today launched a £5.3 million campaign to
encourage business travellers to take to the skies.
The campaign will be spearheaded by a television advertising
campaign featuring the message ‘it’s better to be there’.
Corporate customers and members of BA’s On Business and Executive
Club reward schemes will receive incentives such as extra BA Miles and
upgrades.
BA chief executive Rod Eddington said: “The last 12 months
have been extremely challenging and 2002 will be equally demanding. Over the
last few months we have run a number of successful leisure campaigns and today
we are launching our biggest ever business travel initiative to help British
business compete.”
