More than 100 agents engaged with Classic Collection’s new “lift and shift” social media marketing campaign within 24 hours of launch.
The marketing initiative, which was launched in the first week of peaks, distributes daily static and video content on the operator’s Facebook page and WhatsApp channel which can be instantly downloaded and shared by agents.
Content includes deals for package holidays and prices for handcrafted itineraries, such as multi-centre, island-hopping trips and small-ship cruising.
Manisha Blair (pictured), Classic Collection trade marketing and engagement manager, said: “Agents have told us that they absolutely love the content, find that it is really cutting through with their customers, making their lives easier and driving a lot of enquiries.
“As a 100% trade-focussed operator it’s so pleasing that so many trade partners have got on board with our peaks marketing activity.”
Blair said Classic Collection was focusing its material on regional departures, targeting trending destinations and hotels and spotlighting packages with flexibility in using split leg low-cost airlines to give them a price advantage.
She added: “A huge amount of traction from our agent partners had resulted in a very promising start to its peaks campaign.”
