Air Canada increases Dublin capacity to Montreal and Vancouver

Air Canada has announced a “significant” increase in capacity on its popular routes from Dublin.

News of extra flights to Montreal and Vancouver, alongside the year-round service to Toronto, follows the announcement that Dublin airport’s passenger cap has been paused for this summer.

Air Canada will increase its Dublin-Vancouver route this summer from three to five times per week during peak periods, while also extending its operating season.

Operated by the airline’s fleet of Boeing 787 Dreamliners, the service starts on May 2.

The summer seasonal service to Montreal starts on June 2 and will increase from three to four times per week.

Flights to Toronto will be daily, building on the four flights per week currently offered this winter.

Return fares starting at €505 to Toronto, €558 to Montreal, and €665 to Vancouver.

Bláithín O’Donnell, Air Canada sales Manager, Ireland said: “It’s great to see such significant growth in this market, giving Irish customers more options to choose from when travelling to Canada, the US and beyond.

“The additional flights for 2025 highlight Air Canada’s impressive growth in the Irish market when compared to 2024 capacities, showing approximately 17% growth year on year.”

With connections through Montreal and Toronto, passengers can also reach destinations such as Punta Cana, San Jose, Mexico City and Cancun, which are unserved from Ireland, or US cities such as Orlando, Miami, Las Vegas, Los Angeles and San Francisco.
