Celebrity Cruises will bring back its training for beginners programme and debut a “graduates” initiative this year.
Celebrity for Beginners, in partnership with Travel Weekly, will run until September 16 and is designed for frontline agents who are new to the industry or to the line.
The newly launched Celebrity Cruises Graduates will offer four virtual training sessions throughout the year for agents who have previously completed the beginner training to learn about more advanced topics to “become a certified expert”.
Agents who complete this next stage of training will be invited to attend a graduation ceremony on board a Celebrity Cruises ship at the end of the year.
For the Celebrity for Beginners programme, Celebrity Cruises EMEA training manager Leon Hand will deliver live masterclasses in which he will share tips and insights on how to sell confidently, alongside face-to-face training events with the Celebrity Cruises team and monthly newsletters with updates and announcements from the brand.
Agents who sign up to the programme can register their interest on Celebrity Central to attend ship visits designed for beginners and the chance to spend a day onboard Celebrity Apex or Celebrity Eclipse across the UK and Ireland.
There will also be a prize draw for those who complete the course to win a place on a Seminar at Sea on board Celebrity Apex.
