Celestyal Discovery has returned to service with more cabins and suites after a major refit in Athens over the winter.
The refurbishment of the 1,360-passenger ship has added 47 cabins which will increase its total capacity by 7.4%.
This includes 32 expanded suites, which will increase premium inventory by 52% with two new categories, and 15 interior Cosmos Cabins.
The two new suite categories will comprise 30 Junior Dream Suites, which are 25 sq m plus a balcony, and two Grand Horizon Suites, which are 42 sq m plus a balcony, located above the bridge.
The ship has also introduced a new restaurant called Smoked Olive to match its fleetmate Celestyal Journey, with the venue offering complimentary dining and an optional a la carte menu for an extra fee.
Discovery embarked on its first three-night voyage following the work on March 21 to open its 2025 Greece and Mediterranean season.
It will sail three and four-night Iconic Greek Islands cruises from Athens between March and November, with stops including calling at Mykonos, Kusadasi, Patmos, Rhodes and Santorini with prices starting from £299 for an interior Cosmos Cabin, £889 for a new Junior Dream Suite, and £1,099 for a Grand Horizon Suite.
Lee Haslett, chief commercial officer, said: “This latest refit reinforces our commitment to constantly evolving our guest experience and offering out-of-this-world value.
“Our stunning upgrades, including two new cabin categories, provide guests with even more home comforts and choice in line with demand for more premium and spacious staterooms.
“We were thrilled to debut Celestyal Discovery’s upgrades last week and to be the first cruise line back to the island of Santorini, which is a firm favourite with our guests, as we kick-start the new season in the Greek islands and Mediterranean.”
