Airport transfers specialist Jayride has appointed a regional sales account manager to encourage more travel agents to sign up to the company’s services.
York Ortiz Menendez will focus on the UK, Ireland, Europe and North America in his newly created role, tasked with “fostering meaningful relationships with the company’s partners”.
His most recent role was as director at e-commerce firm Caguairan and he has also led the sales team at tour operator TravelDirect.
He said: “My mission is to help travel businesses in the UK, Ireland and European regions streamline their airport transfer offering to ensure they have a seamless experience for their clients.”
Jayride said his appointment comes after a period of”significant growth” within the business, which will be entering new regions in 2024.
The Australian company enables travellers to compare and book with 3,700 ride service companies, servicing more than 1,600 airports around the world.
