Airport transfer marketplace Jayride revamps agent portal

Online airport transfer marketplace Jayride has revamped its agent portal and added a dedicated concierge service.

The company, which allows travellers to compare airport shuttle and private transfer options, said its updated portal will give agents “even easier access to airport transfer companies that cover over 95% of world airport trips”, and has a new search engine function making it “easier than ever” to find quotes.

Agents can now see supplier profiles including a description of the supplier, the service they offer, images of the vehicles, star ratings and reviews in one place, and can select extras at booking stage, such as additional luggage space and car seats for children.

The new 24 hour concierge service means agents can send a customer’s itinerary and the company can provide all non-airport transfers.

Jayride has partnered with Flex Travel Solutions and can onboard agents in less than 24 hours and facilitate automated commission payment, it said.

Co-founder and managing director Rod Bishop said: “At Jayride, we truly want to make the airport transfer service as simple and stress-free for all parties, from direct customers and agents to the transfer provider themselves.

“This new portal and our exceptional new concierge service provides a global transfer solution that spans worldwide and provides access to extensive fleet classes and additional services.

“With it being one single contract and offering commissionable rates on every booking, free cancellation and 100% refunds guaranteed, it truly makes the process easy for travel agents.

“We know how important it is to have access to an expert at all times and our 24/7 dedicated account managers are always on hand to resolve any issues or provide guidance as quickly as possible.

“What’s more, the portal doesn’t just allow agents to monetise the last miles of a customer’s trip and provide additional services, it also ensures that local businesses and economies are supported, something all of us in the industry have a responsibility to do.”
