Trade technology provider Traveltek has been acquired by a Canadian software firm for an undisclosed sum.
Juniper Group is part of Vela Software and Constellation Software, a publicly traded Canadian company.
Two other acquisitions were also announced by Juniper on the same day – Spanish firms Hotetec and Dome.
The deal for Glasgow-based Traveltek, which develops dynamic packaging and cruise solutions, will strengthen Juniper Group’s market presence in the UK, North America and Australia.
A company statement said: “There will be no changes to Traveltek’s management team, ensuring continuity for our customers and partners.
“We remain fully committed to delivering the same exceptional service and support as always, especially as we approach the close of this year and gear up for the January peak season across our global markets.”
Traveltek chief executive Mal Barritt said: “We are absolutely thrilled to become part of Juniper Group, and the wider Vela Software and Constellation Software family.
“Leading Traveltek into this new chapter is a proud milestone. This offers our customers unparalleled access to a broader array of resources and industry-leading products.
“Importantly, it also provides an exciting and sustainable home for Traveltek, where our team will have new growth and development opportunities.”
Jaime Sastre, chief executive of Juniper Group and founder of Juniper Travel Technology, added: “We are extremely excited to welcome Traveltek to Juniper Group.
“Traveltek’s talented management team and high-performance technology stack are a fantastic addition to our portfolio of travel software companies.
“Together, we can deliver more comprehensive solutions and meet the full range of technology needs for our customers and partners.”
