Singapore will allow non-vaccinated travellers to enter without showing proof of a negative pre-departure test from Monday (February 13).
In addition, visitors who are not fully vaccinated will no longer be required to purchase Covid-19 travel insurance.
The Asian city-state is also scrapping its mask requirement on public transport next week.
However, masks are still needed when interacting with patients in healthcare and residential care settings.
A spokesperson for the country said the health situation had “stabilised” and the population had “developed a high level of immunity from severe Covid-19”.
Singapore last year predicted it would hit pre-pandemic visitor numbers “by mid-2025” and outlined plans to recover from the pandemic more sustainably.
