OPODO has appointed former Orange consumer division managing
director David Scowsill as chief executive officer.
Scowsill has previously held a number of senior roles with
both British Airways and American Airlines. He was also Hilton International
senior-vice president sales, marketing and IT.
Scowsill replaces interim CEO Simon Tucker. Tucker, who is
Opodo’s chief financial officer, had the post on a temporary basis since Giovanni
Bisignani left to join the International Air Transport Association as director
general earlier this year.
