APT has expanded its UK sales team with the internal promotion of Angela Waite and the return of Jessica Shelton-Agar.
Waite has been promoted to the newly created role of head of sales and commercial after 11 years at the company and will continue her leadership of the seven-strong sales support team.
Shelton Agar returns to APT, after leaving the company in June 2016, to take on the newly created role of national sales manager.
Shelton Agar previously worked at APT for four years but left to be sales manager for Australia specialist Anzcro. She has also previously worked at Qantas Holidays and Flight Centre.
APT’s vice president sales and marketing for UK and North America, Nicole De Wilde said, “We are delighted to announce these two new appointments; a much deserved promotion for Angela and a warm welcome back to a more senior position for Jessica.
“We have experienced rapid growth from the UK trade in recent years and it’s still very much on an upward curve.
“Elevating and expanding Angela’s remit and bringing Jessica back into the fold enables us to further dedicate ourselves to supporting our trade partners.
“We are now even better placed to help them meet their financial goals by providing exceptional river cruise and escorted touring product and service levels that encourage repeat business.”
Shelton-Agar will oversee management of APT’s on road sales team, development of trade relationships and implementation of commercial growth strategies. She will report into Waite.
