Shearings Holidays has brought back a dedicated Grand Tourer brochure for 2018-19 after a year following feedback from the trade.
The programme features double the number of tours, with 21 of the 41 new for this year. Of these, 15 tours are in the UK, 23 are in Europe and three are river cruises.
New trips range from a Land’s End to John O’Groats tour to a Greece island-hopping itinerary.
Last year, Grand Tourer trips were featured in the operator’s destination brochures rather than in a separate brochure.
Managing director Jane Atkins said: “We have produced a standalone Grand Tourer brochure this year after feedback from agents and in the knowledge that this is a fast-growing market.
“They told us they wanted a dedicated premium brochure that was rackable – so we have listened. This brochure represents our signature tours.”
The Grand Tourer programme of luxury coach tour holidays includes a home connect service, which picks up holidaymakers from their front door, as well as a dedicated tour manager or local guide to access attractions before they open or to offer experiences not available to the general public.
The 15-day Land’s End to John O’Groats trip costs from £1,029 and includes touring the Cotswolds and a visit to Edinburgh.
Also new is the Cantabria & the Highlights of Castile & Leon tour, from £1,519, visiting the Spanish region of Cantabria and historic walled town of Avila, with accommodation in a renovated 14th-century palace.
Another new overseas trip is the Delights of Turkey & Greek Island Cruise, from £1,209, which offers three nights’ all-inclusive on Celestyal Olympia calling at Patmos, Crete, Mykonos and Santorini, as well as Athens and Istanbul.
