Operators to resume Mexico flights from May 24

TUI Travel and Thomas Cook are resuming flights to Mexico after the Foreign Office lifted its ban on travel to the country due to swine flu.

The Thomson and First Choice programmes will restart on May 24, but some flight times may be subject to change. Customers due to travel from May 24 will be contacted by the customer services team if there are any changes to their itinerary.

Holidaymakers due to travel before the end of June will still have the option to change their holiday for a reduced fee of £50. Normal booking conditions will apply from July 1.

Thomas Cook holidays to Cancun will operate as normal from May 24. Customers booked to travel before that date can claim a refund or change their holiday free of charge.

Most resorts in Cancun have now reopened after a period of closure.
