The homeworking division of The Travel Network Group achieved record monthly sales of £2.8 million in January.
The 122-strong Independent Travel Experts also surpassed its previous top booking day on January 31.
The group reported a 22% rise in the sale of travel ancillaries following the introduction of a new CRM system.
Group membership services director Lisa Henning, who leads the homeworking division, said: “This business has been flying since Christmas and it looks like it’s not going to let up any day soon. Many of the homeworkers are reporting their best-ever months in January and the beginning of February has started well.”
She added: “Given all the noise around Brexit, it’s heartening to see that as a nation we are continuing to see our annual holidays as a ‘must have’.
“ITE is a key part of our growth strategy and we are delighted with the way that the business is currently performing.
“We have close and personal relationships with all of our 122 homeworkers, and it’s so pleasing to see them doing so well.
“One of our newest members of the team achieved sales of one million last year, which is outstanding for their first year in the role.”
