G Adventures’ Rachel Coffey has resigned from her role as UK director of sales. Managing director Brian Young said Coffey was leaving to take up another position in travel.
The escorted touring and adventure travel specialist says it will begin the search for a replacement to drive the company’s growth strategy across the UK and Ireland.
The operator’s managing director Brian Young said: “G Adventures is one of the most exciting travel brands in the market, with purpose at the forefront, and the director of sales role presents an incredible opportunity for the right person.
“We have a brilliant and dynamic sales team, which is continuing to grow, led by our national sales manager Stu Darnley, who will continue to drive the expansion of our sales strategy with our agent partners across the UK.
“We thank Rachel for her valuable input to the business since she joined in 2017 and we wish her the very best going forward.”
Coffey joined G in October 2017 after 14 years at airline Virgin Atlantic, replacing Uday Sodha.
