APT’s Canada & Alaska 2020 brochure features three new escorted tours, including two winter-themed itineraries.
The 16-day Winter in the Rockies & Northern Lights Luxury Tour explores Western Canada from Vancouver to Yellowknife.
Highlights include a heli-flight for a snowshoe trip, a horse-drawn sleigh ride beside Lake Louise, and the chance to see the Northern Lights. It also offers a farewell dinner in a ‘ViTeepee’ and a visit to an ice hockey match.
Prices start from £7,245 on a twin-share basis including flights.
The 14-day Winter Wonderland Essential Tour includes Calgary, Banff, Lake Louise, Jasper and Victoria.

It can be extended to offer the chance to see the Northern Lights in Yellowknife.

“Due to increased agent demand, we have designed two new winter-themed itineraries.”
The new 11-day Rockies Icons Luxury tour starts in Calgary, and includes Banff, the Athabasca glacier, Jasper and Vancouver.
It also includes two Signature Experiences: an exclusive breakfast at the Capilano Suspension Bridge in North Vancouver, and the chance to meet a Mountie and learn about the Royal Canadian Mounted Police.
Optional excursions include gondola rides on Sulphur Mountain, exploring Jasper National Park in a Harley Davidson sidecar and an astronomy tour at the Jasper Planetarium.
Prices start at £5,395 on a twin-share basis, including flights.
