Disney Destinations International veteran Peter Welch is to retire from the company next year.
He confirmed today that he will leave on February 14, 2020 after 28 years with the company.
The vice president marketing and sales UK and Ireland for Disneyland Paris has a hotel interest in Sri Lanka he plans to concentrate on together with a business opportunity in Spain.
The search for a successor will now get underway.
Welch’s planned departure follows Disneyland Paris vice president of sales, marketing and distribution, Hugh Wood, stepping down last month after ten years at the company.
