Barrhead Travel’s founder and former owner Bill Munro is suing the agency for unfair dismissal.
Munro is understood to have departed against his wishes when the role created for him after Travel Leaders bought Barrhead in February 2018, was made redundant.
Last November the business confirmed that Munro had left, but he is understood to have departed four months earlier on July 17.
A hearing at Glasgow’s Tribunal Office is due to take place on November 11 and is scheduled to last until November 15.
There are understood to be three witnesses due to give evidence at the hearing.

Munro’s solicitor, Stephen Miller, partner at Clyde & Co said: “Bill strongly believes he has been unfairly dismissed and he is looking forward to getting a resolution.”
Munro started Barrhead Travel in 1975 and until the acquisition held a strategic advisory role as chairman.
Travel Leaders Group acquired Barrhead in February 2018 for an undisclosed sum.
Munro was chairman at the time, and his daughter, Sharon Munro, was chief executive.
Sharon Munro left Barrhead in December last year and was replaced by Jacqueline Dobson who took over as president in January this year.
Barrhead Travel and Travel Leaders declined to comment.
