JetBlue and Aer Lingus have expanded their codeshare agreement to four more routes.
JetBlue’s B6 code will be placed on four Aer Lingus routes; between both New York JFK and Boston and Dublin and Shannon in Ireland.
They are bookable on JetBlue’s website with passengers able to use a single ticket for connecting flights operated by both carriers. Passengers travelling to the US from Ireland on the codeshare routs can pre-clear customs at Dublin and Shannon.
JetBlue and Aer Lingus have partnered since 2008 and in 2013 announced a unilateral codeshare agreement. Aer Lingus’ EI code is available on more than three dozen JetBlue routes.
The American low-cost airline said it intends to add its code to select routes operated by the Irish flag carrier beyond Ireland in the future.
