Ryanair to serve Marrakech from Edinburgh by Christmas

Ryanair is rebuilding its UK network with two new routes.

A route to Marrakech in Morocco will be added from Edinburgh in time for Christmas.

Two flights a week will run from December 18.

Edinburgh airport aviation director Kate Sherry said: “Marrakech has been a destination many people have asked for.

“We are always looking to widen our connections and ensure Edinburgh and Scotland is targeting sustainable growth opportunities as we continue our recovery.

“Retaining our connectivity is so important and we have to be flexible in our approach to keep Scotland competitive and offer choice for both leisure and business markets.”

The no-frills carrier is to start serving Lviv in western Ukraine from Manchester with two flights a week from November 5.

Fares to both destinations start at £19.99 one-way for travel until the end of March 2022 if booked by midnight on Thursday (October 21).
