SILVERSEA Cruises is changing the name of its new ship, due in July next year, to Silver Whisper.
Silversea originally selected the name Silver Mirage for the new ship but president Bill Smith claimed the new name was a more suitable title to convey the company’s image of elegance and exclusivity. Silver Whisper will be a sister vessel to the 388-passenger Silver Shadow, expected for delivery in September. The two new builds will double Silversea’s fleet to four ships.
